It all started when Uli moved to the metropolis of
Cologne in spring 2007. What he discovered was the
world of music which had been unknown to Uli. Clubs such
as "the Odonien" and "Bogen 2" as well as music institutions like
Kompakt or Treibstoff had a strong influence on him. “Electronic
music is an emotion. It is a feeling that is passed on through sounds
and melodies. To me it feels like a river flowing through me”, Uli explains.
Inspired by his idols, he started to buy DJ equipment and records. After
a long time of practicing Uli started performing at parties and
together with some friends he finally hosted his own event in the former
club "Blumengold". “Cologne was a great place to start djing”,
Uli says. Parties at special locations like an old bunker
or the pier of the "Severinsbrücke" were moments
when he felt very close to music.

Uli moved to East Germany in autumn 2009
in order to study economics at the University of Leipzig.
“Leipzig is so much different from cologne, people are not that
frantic but friendly”, he remarks, “For me as an artist it is good to
get various input from different communities. That is exactly what I
found in Leipzig.” It took Uli a year during which he played at different
locations in Leipzig until he realized that producing his own music was
getting more and more important to him. One night at a DJ gig in a club
he played with Marc Model which was an inspirational encounter for Uli.
The music flow and style of the both DJs complemented and so Marc
invited Uli to pay him a visit at his music studio. In spring 2011 they
started to meet regularly and work together on music ever
since. Thrilled by this collaboration Uli felt encouraged
to built up his own home studio where he works
on his own definition of electronic music.
